I love coming to this mom and pop store on the corner. I'm always greeted with a smile and a hello. Their liquor prices are comparable to large liquor stores and their selection is quiet diverse. Besides living down the street I like to support local businesses in Stockton.
The store itself is very clean. They are constantly updating their craft beers! I have asked them for a particular beer that they didn't carry and within a week they were carrying it! I love when the business really cares!
They carry a little bit of everything from propane tanks to ice to speciality craft beer to ice cream (my favorite).
Compared to similar liquor stores in the area the crowd of people shopping here are middle class. I never feel unsafe unlike many other stores down Country Club or Pershing.
After speaking with the owners they are no longer making deli sandwiches! They have closed their deli. I have to say that I'm going to miss it. Memories of those Hi & Bye Market sandwiches will be just that, a memory!
Like Vincent has said I love sitting on the tables and chairs in front of the store while I'm munching on something observing people driving. Especially because there is an unprotected light adding some danger to the intersection!
They have an authentic taco stand in front of the store now. Beer and tacos! Yes please! I tried the steak and and pork tacos along with steak quesadillas. They red sauce has some spice to it but is delicious. The green sauce is not spicy but very flavorful also. -

Great selection of IPAs. They had Indian pop music semi blasting on the stereo, which was great!

I love this place, mostly for the customer service from the owner Ruby! She is very helpful, and I've enjoyed getting to know her over the years. Great beer selection here too, and conveniently located in the UOP/Victory Park area. Also your standard candy bars, snacks, groceries, and various sundries. Stop by and say hi!

Ronnie's Market & Deli on the corner of Perishing ave and Country Club Blvd in Stockton, California.
If you haven't figured it out by now, yourstrully loves Markets.
Today I was contemplating on what to have for lunch. So I ended up coming to Ronnie's Market & Deli and getting their $3.99 sandwich deal. I ordered a Pastrami sandwich on a genova roll, a small bag of chips and a soda. They get their bread form Genova Bakery for those who didn't know.
I always liked their sandwiches even back to the old Hi & Bye Market on Harding way. These are the same owners.
Note: Hi & Bye Market got burnt down and now it's the Family Dollar Store on Harding way.
The beer prices are pretty reasonable and they carry pretty much all munchies you'll find in a Market. If you use ATM/Credit there is a .50 cents charge.
One thing I like to do is just sit back and relax on thier little patio out in the front. I just love outside seating and I'll basically just go anywhere just to enjoy that moment.
So if you want a great deal on a sandwich, chips & drink for $3.99. Probably the best in town, if there's one better let me know so I can check it out. You should give Ronnie's a try.
So yeah I'll be coming back pretty soon.
